Bilby Bites

Launched just before Christmas 2009 and now properly finding it's feet with a decent amount of content and regular submissions, I've launched the Bilby Bites food blog.

A little over 12 months ago I launched Bilby Marketing - and for 2010, I've created, essentially, a micro-site: Bilby Bites.

A food blog in a nutshell with extra content on local food producers and restaurants.

My part in it has had nothing to do with the content - but I had fun with the design of the site. It made sense to keep the Bilby as he's a key part of the overall branding for Bilby Marketing, the addition of a spoon seems a good way to keep branding between the two areas of the main website (Bilby Marketing & Bilby Bites) consistent, but also clearly separated.

It also became a good opportunity to make generous use of a font I'd had my eye on for a while: Candy Script, which looks great throughout the blog.

It's built around Expression Engine CMS (as is the main Bilby Marketing site). So very expandable as and when other requirements are determined.
