Big new website

I'm being rather cautious what I write here.

As well as Mekonta, I work as the web guy for another big company in Exeter, where I'm responsible for their numerous websites.

In an effort to be duly professional I try to keep each job separate and not list work done outside of Mekonta on this site.

However ... we just launched this site - which has been more or less 24 months in the making.

It's a big site with lots of input from different people with varying agendas. As an outsider I can see a dozen places to pick holes, but as an insider who has seen the process of getting the site to this state I'm really very proud.

It's in a place where it can be developed further and hopefully perform really well for the company. Initial feedback is certainly supporting this.

My role in all of this was writing up of the specification for functional requirements, Information Architecture, design and content managment. So I've been very close to this site right from inception, and I want to give it a discreet reference here for posterity.
