Almost 1 year ago I set up The Wit & Wisdom of Matt Beckenham on Mekonta. Every day for this time a new piece of Wit or Wisdom from Matt has been updated onto the site.
He said we’d never get 365 quotes out of him, but in fact the 365 quote quota was reached well before Christmas. And a careful read through is, I belive, as good a character study as any you can find.
The current Wit and Wisdom format will continue until the end of January, at which point I’ll be releasing an updated design. Quotes won’t be added on a daily basis, but we’ve decided in the office that we can’t resist to keep a record of the choicest quotes from Matt. So the current archive will continue to be available, and a Latest & Greatest list of quotes will also be available.
And if I can actually get around to it I’ve got ideas for a Wit & Wisdom of Matt Beckenham, quote a day desk calendar, a greeting cards range and various other bits of memorabilia celebrating the Beckenham brand.
